SEIKO unveiled its highly anticipated “Ichigo Ichie” collection at Prouds in Suva on Wednesday, celebrating 40 years of partnership.
The event highlighted Seiko’s commitment to blending cutting-edge technology with classic designs, showcasing timepieces that embody precision, innovation, and elegance.
The brand’s groundbreaking achievements as the world’s pioneer watchmaker established in 1881, includes the first quartz watch and the recent GPS solar innovations. Sales manager Oceania for Seiko Australia, Brett Neil remarked on the significance of the evening.
“We celebrate not only our history with Prouds but also the launch of our new collections, including a special collaboration with Lark, an Australian whiskey producer,” he said while introducing the all-new Seiko and Lark presage.
He encouraged guests to explore the new offerings, which include the latest Astron and Presage collections, as well as the Seiko 5 Sports line.
Prouds general manager Rashmi Singh acknowleged the unwavering support that has been instrumental in making the event a reality.
“Together, we celebrate a journey marked by innovation and quality,” she said.
The collection of watches is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide paying tribute to the Japanese philosophy ‘Ichigo Ichie’, meaning ‘for this time only’.
