The Motibhai Group is a diversified corporate organisation with a wide range of portfolios, including FMCG, hospitality, luxury goods, electronics, manufacturing, real estate, fast food restaurants and print media.
In all parts of the business we are dedicated to delighting our stakeholders and “creating memorable moments” for our customers. These principles have helped us to evolve from a small grocery store to an integrated organization. We also strongly believe in our Corporate Social Responsibility and through various philanthropic activities we continue to make difference in lives of many individuals.
As I look back to Motibhai Group’s inception 90 years ago, I feel confident that we have made progress in the right path. Year 2021 has been a milestone year for our Group to commemorate 90th anniversary of its founding with the motto “Celebrating our Past, Inspiring our Future,”. This is our commitment to our business and a testament to the values inculcated in us in the past by our Founders that paved the way to the Group’s accomplishments.
Year 2019 was another
milestone for our print media Company “The Fiji Times” where it celebrated its
150th Anniversary. Such years of existence does reminds us that we are not
makers of history but we are made by it.
The Group recognises the efforts of
the new generation of Executives who bring new vibrancy, innovation whilst truly
believing that our Human Capital are our most “valuable assets”. Our focus on sustainable growth while adding value to
the community at large is our strength.
Since our modest beginnings in 1931, we have stayed true to our mission of delivering quality products and services in whichever sector we have been involved with. We believe the success and growth of our business can be attributed to consistency in terms of standards and quality and to the efforts of our supportive local and international partners.
Over the years, our professional belief in ethics and quality has evolved into a set of corporate standards and practices which we use as our benchmark for excellence.
The qualities that the Patriarch, a farmer saw in his sons of courage, commitment, dedication and strong will are very well reflected in being recognized as the only concessionaire in the world operating Airport Duty Free Concession continuously since 1971 – an exceptional achievement and a world record.
