The Goddess Lakshmi

The Goddess Lakshmi is the third limited edition release of a Lladro Indian God figurine. Since the first release of Lord Ganesha each subsequent release has attracted unprecedented consumer and press interest worldwide.  This was shortly followed by Radha Krishna and has now created a cult following by many who are keen to secure their allocation of the Goddess Lakshmi. With 3000 pieces being released for Radha Krishna, Lladro have limited the Goddess Lakshmi to only 2000 pieces making this piece more exclusive when in fact consumer demand for these pieces is growing exponentially.

DESCRIPTION
This goddess Lakshmi can be described as a fair lady, seated on a full bloomed lotus and also holding two lotus buds, which stand for beauty, purity and fertility. Her four hands represent the four ends of human life (Purusharthas). A plate with gold coins is found in front of her, suggesting that she blesses with wealth those who worship her. She is bejeweled and dressed in fine garments, wearing gold embroidered red clothes. Red symbolizes activity and the golden lining indicates prosperity. Underlining her majesty and divinity, she is also adorned with a lotus garland, halo, crown and locks of hair. Her expression is calm and loving, with a personal charm and beauty. Her pinkish complexion reflects her compassion for creatures, since she is the mother of all. An aura of divine happiness, mental and spiritual satisfaction, and prosperity exists around her.
